Following the great success of Megalong’s Riding Free from DV ride on Sunday, our Mega-Trivia night WILL take place at the Community Hall on Saturday 19th September. Unfortunately postponed in August, the night is your chance to continue to support our Valley’s initiative against domestic violence. Doors open at 6.00 for a 7.30 start.
This is a chance to test your grasp of inessential and generally useless knowledge against that of your neighbour. Can the Nellies Glen Nerds prevail over the Peach Tree Pythons? Will the Ward Road Warthogs succumb to the pressure of alcohol and close quizzing? These and other critical questions will be answered on the night - and all for big prizes.
There has been marvellous generosity from within the Valley, as always, and Stetson Australia have donated a beautiful hand-crafted leather hat for us to silent auction on the night. And bring a few gold coins along to ‘coin toss’ for other great prizes. Everything goes to Riding Free from DV.
Why not put a table of 6 or 8 together. You can book a table now, or just turn up on the night. We’ll certainly find a welcoming spot for you. Entry for the night is $10 for adults and $5 for under 16s - all in aid of Riding Free from DV; munchkins under 8 are very welcome, and free. And don’t forget to bring along your drinks and nibblies.
For further information or to confirm your table, please reply by return email (check your inbox for an email from MVCLA Secretary sent Monday 31st August) or phone Rod , or Siobhan (phone numbers also on that email).
Hope you can join us, and support a great cause. You won’t be disappointed.
