The Gymkhana is a fun day for families, and horse lovers alike! An event held in the picturesque grounds of Megalong Valley Sportsground on Megalong Road. The day will consist of various horse events for all levels and ages, as well as horse free events, competitions, displays, market stalls, licensed bar and BBQ canteen to suit everyone. You can find the list of events here.

Horsemanship has a long history in Megalong Valley. For generations, riders and mounts worked the gorges of the Cox's, Kowmung and Jenolan Rivers in pursuit of wily, reluctant cattle. The Megalong Valley Bush Gymkhana is a result of that tradition.

There is no entry charge for spectators. Limited competitor spots are available, please purchase tickets online in advance through the Megalong Gymkhana website.
